The Lady Mustangs got back on the winning track today with a thrilling 9-8 victory over N. Reading at Edgerly field. Things did not come easy for Medford, in fact they were trailing by two goals at halftime, 5-3.
The Lady Mustangs would not be denied and came out in the second half firing.
Eventually captain Mady Forcier scored the game winner with 50 seconds left in regulation.
Olivia Timmins led all scorers with 4 goals and 2 assists, Mady Forcier had two goals and two assists, Sophia Karon had tow goals and Michaela Botticelli added a goal.
The win gets the Lady Mustangs to 12-2 overall and 4-0 in the GBL.
The Lady Mustangs host Central Catholic High School on Thursaday at 4PM. If you plan to attend you are asked to wear all white, as the team is hoping to have a "white-out."
